Meditation
The word meditation has been taken by the world in so many different meanings, Which is somewhat misplaced. They want to do meditation without knowing about it. Most people want to control their minds while doing meditation, which is a serious mistake. In the yogic system, the word meditation means awareness. Just pay attention to everything. Don’t try to control your mind, enhance your mind so that your mind can liberate. Here are few meditation process, which can liberate you and give some wisdom.Different types of meditation
1. Breathing meditation. Can you imagine just paying attention to your breath for few minutes a day can relax you instantly. It is the easiest and quickest way to relieve your stress or just to be in a state of ease within you. You have to seat properly with your eyes closed and cross your legs and start paying attention to your breath. Just feel your body when you inhale how your body responds.
2. Mindfulness meditation. A Monk(Buddhists) says it is vipassana or insight meditation. Mindfulness is the key to transform yourself into new dimensions of perspective in which you become deeply aware of what’s happening right now. You can focus on what is happening inward and outward in a very moment of life.
3. Chanting mantra meditation. Many people use this technique to keep their minds from wandering when they have to concentrate on something specific. Understanding how does it work is a big task in itself. A mantra is a simple word or phrase which you repeat as you sit in meditation. Many people choose it from the experienced master in some traditions. They do not have to know the meaning of it so that their mind doesn’t form any image of it. If they know it means their mind will understand it starts showing an image of it which totally takes you in a different direction. It’s very important that you don’t know the meaning of the mantra.
4. Simply sit meditation. Many people don’t know how to keep their attention? They always need something which grasps their attention. If you can simply sit with your eye close and cross your legs. Don’t try to do meditate, chanting a mantra, concentrate on your breathing. Just simply sit, if you can do it, then the tremendous thing will happen.
5. Namaskar
meditation. It sounds are quite different from any other kind of
meditation. It is easy, simple, and most effective. Many people know it as
“meditation on loving-kindness”. In this process, you have to sit on the place
with your eyes close, cross legs and hold your hand together in front of your
chest. Be grateful and generate the highest level of your emotions. You
can do it for 3 to 5 minutes.
There are
also many other meditations that you can try, such as “silent meditation” or
“object meditation”. Each type of meditation has its own advantages and
effects. For this reason, you may find that at different times and for
different purposes, you want to use several different types of meditation.
